The idea came to life when Benjamin Loth, a former Swiss hockey goalie, found himself searching for a better way to improve his game during recreational play. 

Frustrated by the lack of tools to track stats and get meaningful feedback, he set out to create the solution he wished he had as a player.

What started as a personal project quickly turned into a powerful tool now used by dozens of goalies across Switzerland, Canada, and the U.S., with a growing community joining every week.

GOALR is proudly built in Switzerland, combining a clean, efficient user experience with world-class goaltending insight. The app is developed in close partnership with Stéphane Ménard, one of Québec’s most respected goalie coaches, bringing pro-level knowledge and methodology into every feature.
